Dear Healthy Smiles,
Every morning, when I see my son munching on his cereal, (without pain or discomfort) I just have to smile, because I feel BLESSED!! I am a single mother of 3, I am currently unemployed for a year now and I have been searching for a dentist that I would be able to afford. I was referred to so many different dentists but even their payment plans were so out my reach! Until I found Healthy Smiles!!
We can’t thank you enough!! For my son and I, Healthy Smiles has been a miracle that changed our lives, I can’t even imagine what would have happened with my son if Healthy Smiles wouldn’t had been there for us.

My Story:
My name is Bernadette and I live in a small rural town near Fresno, California. My family consists of my two daughters, husband, and myself. For the past 5 years I have been the only one working and can’t afford dental insurance on top of my medical care premiums for the family. I was excited when we heard that Healthy Smiles was coming to our town. I thought this would be a chance for my daughter (5 years old) to get her first dental exam and cleaning. The only problem was that I didn’t have any dental insurance. I called the office to see what I could do. When they told me about a grant they were given to help uninsured children I got goose bumps. You don’t know what a relief it is to find out that my little girl can finally get her teeth checked. I have worried about it but didn’t know how I was going to get her taken care of. We are very grateful for this blessing and hope that other opportunities like this are available for families that may be in the same situation.
